La recherche in silico

Gabriel Gallezot 1, 2
Abstract : (traduction automatique) in silico Research . This term indicates the beginning and the width of a phenomenon in molecular biology: research is not only any more in vivo or in vitro, but has a recourse increasingly essential with the data-processing analyses. It thus stresses the importance of technologies information and of the communication (TIC) in the development of this discipline and indicates of them especially two specific fields: the génomique one and the bioinformatique one. We present here an explanatory model of the cycle of scientific and technical information (STI) in this community by the means of a participating observation carried out within a laboratory of genetics of the microbes at the INRA. We apprehended the appropriation of numerical information by the researchers using a heuristic model built on the cycle of life of the document (acquisition, research, filing...) and of transformation of information (information/documents/knowledge) entitled cycle of scientific and technical information
