Étude de faisabilité d’une plate-forme technique d’aide à la conduite d’un fauteuil roulant électrique

Abstract : The FRACAH project (wheelchair equipped with steering system adapted to handicap) is developed in this study. It consists in a highly evolved mobility assistance system intended for handicapped persons, suffering from major spasticicty or strongly impaired motricity. Mobile robotics contribution offers improvements to electric wheelchair steering, making use of technical devices such as a lever than can be controlled through a network of artificial neurons with back propagation gradient. This system allows rectifications on discontinuous motions and suppresses shakings and involuntary uncoordinated movements.
