TIC et espace public : les enseignements théoriques du printemps tunisien

Abstract : The Tunisian spring shows that ICT is not profoundly impact the public sphere. It proves the contrary that the public sphere is a place of concrete commitment. To put it another way, the public sphere is not limited to the media space which itself is not reducible to ICT. The evolutions of the Tunisian media landscape does not automatically signals the advent of a Tunisian public sphere. However, if the Tunisian case confirms the theoretical distinction between public sphere and media sphere, it also pushes to review the theoretical framework proposed by Habermas.
