Professeur documentaliste : profession «métissée», profession clivée ?

Abstract : In France, school teachers librarians are in charge of the CDI (Centre for Documentation and Information) in high schools and junior high schools. Their gradual professionalization is an original example of identity construction. In spite of the creation of the “CAPES of Documentation” in 1989, tensions remain present, within the professional group as well as with the Institution, about the task-sharing between teaching activities and the ones related to being an information professional ; it opposes two possible models for an evolution of their missions in the digital age.
