Qu'est-ce qui fait SCIENCE dans SCIENCE de l'INFORMATION ?

Abstract : Nearly 40 years after the birth of information science, its scientific statute remains disputed. To defend it, we take a short definition of science such as it is accepted in epistemology. Then, we apply it to information science to show that it answers this definition. And we finish by specifying the space of knowledge of information science (singular) and compare it with that of communication sciences (plural).
