Indexation de l'art abstrait : enjeux et question.

Abstract : art is the subject of a significant number of works that, today, are the object of documentary treatments or commentaries in different cultural sectors (publishing, museums, etc.) for research, teaching, and visual communication. At the origins of visual access, comes analysis and documentary indexing of which the objective is to propose means and solutions to potential users to generate greater relevance in seeking information. However, indexing of abstraction is rarely considered as a theoretical question, progeny of an aesthetic of the unutterable, and consequently relatively distinct from the techniques of analysis and content used in documentation. The object of this article is to come back to this question while establishing several theoretical and empirical guideposts to better comprehend the challenges of documentary treatment of the abstract in the context of sharing and transmission of knowledge.
