Le décalage contextuel dans les communications médiées par écran : à la croisée de la dématérialisation du contexte et de la re- textualisation des échanges

Abstract : The digital remote communication media and the software creations of communication between individuals that have emerged in the last thirty years have led to an unprecedented development of new technologies of writing and writing as well as a re-textualization of the exchanges concomitant with dematerialization of the context. However, the dematerialization of the context specific to these environments exponentially complicates its understanding, multiplying the risks of misunderstandings, discrepancies, misunderstandings. People who communicate are not physically present one to the other, their meeting takes place and materializes via a text. Textuality therefore becomes a new mode of encounter, the text of which is the place. The fact that we imagine communication as if it were instant develops a textual understanding of the message, the moment we read it, which is specific to reception. All these exchanges are based on an identical flaw: they deprive the interaction of the many possibilities of regulation that the presence allows and which deprive us of the screens, while communication rests only on a very low percentage of verbal. I thus define the contextual shift, which insinuates itself in this lack, as being first of all an enunciative discrepancy augmented by a constant and necessary recontextualization. After having explained the process, I illustrate its manifestations through the analysis of an extract from the corpus, consisting of reactions to the text the freedom to annoy published in Le Monde on January 10, 2018.
