Quand les moteurs de recherche appellent au jeu : usages ou détournements ?

Abstract : Search engines are sometimes used not to find information on the web but for other purposes. This article focuses on fun or satirical uses of the commercial search engine, Google. Starting from an analysis of the interface, we identify traces that incite to game. Next, we analyze some games created by or around the search engine, the features they highlight and the underlying representations. Far from being anecdotal, these practices say a lot about the software and the way the search engine has transformed the search.
